**Job Title: Equipment Operator 1st Shift** **Job Description** This distribution center supplies products for all of the company's retail stores and supports 85% of volume for 230 stores and 90% of online orders. The warehouse equipment operators will be reporting to the warehouse department and will be responsible for moving and lifting up to 50lb boxes of products and materials. They will utilize equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners to select items on order sheets. **Responsibilities** + Move and lift up to 50lb boxes of products and materials. + Utilize equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners. + Select all items on order sheets depending on the location using the appropriate equipment. + Ensure accurate order picking by working off of order sheets. + Operate at heights using cherry pickers without fear. **Essential Skills** + Order picking + Material handling + RF scanning + General labor + Packing + Palletizing + Forklift operation + Attention to detail **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No education is required + Willingness to learn + Good attitude **Why Work Here?** The company has implemented a feedback program to enhance the company culture. The lunch area has a cantina with food and drink options, microwaves, and lockers for personal belongings. Large industrial fans help increase airflow. The dress code policy requires closed-toed work shoes, appropriate pants such as jeans or khaki slacks, and shorts no more than 3 inches above the knee. Leggings with a top or dress covering the buttocks are acceptable. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
