If you have experience operating electric pallet jacks (EPJ), forklifts, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this opportunity is for you. ๐Ÿ“Œ Position Details: + Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. + Overtime: 30.00 per hour + Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM. + Interview: In-person interviews are mandatory. Candidates will be tested on their EPJ skills during the interview. ๐Ÿš€ Key Responsibilities: + Operate an electric pallet jack (EPJ) or forklift to select and transport products. + Hand-select orders in various warehouse environments (dry, cooler, freezer). + Use Sysco Order Selection (SOS) technology to label and palletize products accurately. + Stage pallets for loading and deliver products to the dock safely and efficiently. + Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment. + Shrink-wrap products on the loading dock. + Follow all safety protocols, including SyscoSafe work methods and sanitation requirements. + Attend required company meetings and complete other assigned duties. โœ… Requirements: + Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. + Experience: + 12 months of warehouse experience (preferred). + 12 months of experience operating an EPJ or forklift (preferred). + Skills: + Ability to meet or exceed efficiency and accuracy standards. + Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety regulations. + Basic knowledge of inventory control techniques. + Physical Demands: + Frequently lift 1-75 lbs, up to 100 lbs. + Constantly bend, twist, and reach up to 72 inches. + Work in varying temperatures (dry, cooler, freezer). + Other: + Must be 18+ years old. + Pass pre-employment testing (drug screening, background check, physical abilities test). + Explain all resume gaps on the resume. ๐Ÿ’ก What Weโ€™re Looking For: + Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious individuals. + Team players who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. ๐Ÿ“ Considerations: Prepare an updated resume that includes: + Your experience with EPJ, forklift, order picking, packing, inventory/receiving, and scanner use. + Explanations for any gaps in employment. ๐Ÿ“ Additional Notes: + This is a full-time, night shift position with opportunities for overtime. + Candidates must be prepared to work in varying temperatures and meet physical demands.
