Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Equipment Reliability Engineer located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as part of the site engineering team, the Equipment Reliability Engineer is responsible for Equipment Reliability Engineering across a diverse manufacturing operation. This role provides technical leadership for inputs, data structure, and reports & analysis within the Corrective Maintenance Management System (CMMS).  The role will work closely across functions including Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to champion  projects to improve equipment availability & performance.  Reliability analyses with recommendations to senior management are a key part of this role as part of continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills are required to successfully optimize the availability of the high-volume production lines.

What a typical day looks like:

Coach, develop, and mentor factory maintenance and reliability technical staffOversee, develop, maintain, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program in alignment with the Quality Management SystemProvide technical leadership to create & drive solutions for reliability issues, troubleshooting, and preventive measuresPrioritize and re-prioritize open projects as needed to support the businessContinuously optimize the utilization of the site CMMS including reporting outputs.Lead root cause analysis efforts and ensure equipment reliability including predictive maintenanceBe a positive role model and demonstrate the ability to get results through othersCooperatively work with other factory engineers, operations supervisors, and maintenance technicians to optimize equipment OEE.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

College graduate with four-year engineering degree.Manufacturing maintenance experience totaling minimum 6 years desirable.At least 2 years working directly with a CMMS system including configuring new assets therein.Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance tools and world class asset care.Proven track record of engineering and maintenance with the ability to apply engineering and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task under continuously changing business priorities.Demonstrated leadership in the deployment  of reliability engineering best practices within a complex manufacturing operation
