**Join Our Community!** **ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to support our GI Lab at the McCandless location.** **Shift Details:** + Monday-Friday + 8-hour shifts + Variable start time between 6am and 8:30am + Shift and scheduling details will be further discussed during the interview. **Responsibilities:** + Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories. + Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories. + Contribute to an efficient work and team environment. + Assume responsibility for own development. + Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety. + Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories. + Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Act 34 **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
