Primary Responsibilities:

Provides electrical/mechanical and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) support in response to operational changes resulting from the malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or other existing mechanical systems and/or equipment Conduct Preventative/Predictive/Corrective Maintenance on all automation equipment essential to the automated processes within the Mail Order Pharmacy Familiar with CMMS, entering WOs, and inventory management Optimize mail order pharmacy throughput and minimize downtime through scheduling and completion of routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and process improvement strategies Serves as an instrumental part of a broad team that consists of Automation, Engineering, and IT

Required Qualifications:

1+ years of experience working with mechanical systems such as: couplings, gears, bearings, clutch, belt and chain drives, mechanical alignment, read and understand trade data, etc 1+ years of experience working on pneumatic & hydraulic systems such as: air compressor, air dryer, directional control valves, air cylinders, actuators, speed flow controllers, tube sizing, etc 1+ years of experience working on electrical systems such as: electrical safety, electrical fundamentals, electrical conductors, raceways, wiring devices, protective devices, distribution, motors, transformers, grounding, lighting, measurement instruments, symbols and drawings 1+ years of experience with Preventive Maintenance Systems on automation line equipment such as conveyors, motors, printers, labelers, etc Previous experience working on Automation systems such as: PLC theory of operations, PLC internals, Input & Output (sensors, relays, etc.), ladder logic, PLC program instructions, Robotics operation and maintenance, etc Working knowledge of PC systems and applications Able to work M-F 2pm-10:30pm and rotating every third Sunday

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Training (vocational tech) in mechanical and/or electronic and/or automation system  IT application knowledge  Knowledge and experience in Pharmacy High Volume System (HVS)  Ability to travel to other sites (minimal needs)
