We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Equipment Tech within our Onshore Resources Carbon Management (ORCM).
This position is responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:
Preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oilfield surface equipment. This includes knowledge and skills to maintain equipment reliability of various pumps, compression (screw and reciprocating packages), and associated plant/field surface equipment.Strong background in reciprocating, screw and vain compressor maintenanceDemonstrated strong commitment to safety (personal safety, co-workers, contractors and the public)Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform root cause failure analysisThorough knowledge of surface equipment types and applications related to gas/oil processingAbility to repair mechanical problems on required equipmentAbility to perform preventative maintenance and manage operating costs within budgetExperience working with high and low speed gas enginesCapable of basic troubleshooting of automation and electrical equipment. Can state the purpose of process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and single line diagrams (SLDs).Recognizes common equipment symbols used on different type of diagrams.Can identify the standards related to installations in hazardous areas.Can state when accurate or specialized measuring and testing devices are required.Recognizes all safety precautions to be taken while using measuring and testing devices.Can outline alignment, lubricant, and mechanical principles.Demonstrates a general awareness of the safe way to utilize hand and power tools, how to the correct tools for the job and how to dispose of damaged or faulty hand or power tools in accordance with approved procedures.Recruitment Fraud
