As an Equipment Technician, you will be the 'go to' person for anything and everything equipment related. You will be supporting the entire Main Tower-3 Main, 4 Main and 5 Main. Overall responsibilities will include: rounding on all units to ensure any broken equipment is brought down to facilities to be repaired, ensure work orders are submitted, and round to ensure all equipment is where it needs to be. This person will be collaborating with our storeroom, so teamwork is extremely important. This person will be troubleshooting our WOW machines (workstation on wheels) to ensure it is working properly and recalibrate the printers and scanners on the WOWs. This person will also be responsible for stocking all 'wings' and patient rooms. This is a very independent role. You will be given a daily task list, and expected to execute with little supervision.

There is roughly a 2 week training period, 2-3 days of which will be at Main Campus.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. No weekends. No holidays.

Responsibilities: 

Cleans, delivers, evaluates and inspects specified medical devices.Documents work activity in an electronic database.Delivers and recovers specialty carts and procedural trays.May be required to orders supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budgetMay be required to stock patient rooms or deploy supplies for use within unit/department ​Other duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

None required

Complexity of Work:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

Hospital experience or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
