Description Position at SBM Management

The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.  

Responsibilities 

Walk and or stand for long periods of timeAnswer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staffAppropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectantAble to read par sheets and inventory levelsAdhere to hospital policies and infection control processesObtain supplies via Stock Acquisition ProcessPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleOperate pushcart for transporting equipmentMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorComply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageSupport shift lead in completing punch-list itemsUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionUnderstand reporting systems, and of the environmentQualificationsNo specific education requirementsCompleted all safety and task training certification Ability to read inventory formsAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use*Covid Vaccination Required *Annual Flu Shot Required *Site Operates All HolidaysCompensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourShift: Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 9:00pm
