Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Technician who will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing plural component paint systems. This process involves mixing two or more coating materials and spraying them simultaneously onto a surface, commonly used for epoxies, polyurethanes, and polyureas.
ResponsibilitiesOperate plural component pumps, wet film gage, and environmental gagesRepair paint equipment including replacing tips, hoses, pump filters, etc.Read and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematicsPerform repairs on various types of spray equipment (e.g., airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers) at the store or customers’ job sitesConduct hydraulic and warranty repairsRebuild pumpsRepair branch tinting and mixing equipmentEducate employees and customers on spray equipmentMaintain an inventory of spray partsPerform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipmentRepair broken machines and equipment efficientlyIdentify causes of unexpected machine breakdownsRecord and report damaged, worn, or broken partsOrder and install replacement parts for machinesEssential SkillsProficiency in operating plural component pumpsAbility to use wet film gage and environmental gagesExperience in reading mechanical prints and electrical schematicsProficiency in paint gun operation and troubleshootingMechanical and electrical skillsExperience with preventive maintenance and repairMechanically inclined with experience in taking apart and reassembling equipmentExperience with A Side and B Side HeatersElectrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with Wiwa and Graco Paint PumpsAdditional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience specific to plural component paint systemsAbility to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assistedProficiency in reading diagrams and schematicsExperience with test/measuring equipment preferredBasic computer and wireless communication device skillsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
