Job Description
As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for packaging line operations including operating and monitoring equipment, inspection, hand cartoning or packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, and hopper filling. You will assist in line clearances between batches, manage changeovers, follow cleanup sheet directions, and troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Accurate record-keeping, adherence to production documents, SOPs, and GMPs, and maintaining a neat work area are essential. You will also monitor operations for deviations, quality risks, or mechanical problems, identify safety, quality, and efficiency improvements, and actively participate in learning organization development.

Work Environment
Onsite at a life sciences manufacturing environment. This role is in the pharmaceutical packaging department, requiring adherence to clean room protocols. Candidates must wear full gown, shoe covers, hairnet, beard net, and safety glasses at all times. PPE is provided except for safety shoes and prescription safety glasses. Some work is performed in a cold room environment (35-46 F), with appropriate cold weather PPE provided. Interaction includes internal contact with production operation employees, engineering, inventory, and quality assurance personnel, with limited external contact with client personnel observing packaging operations. The shift is 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday; 2:45 pm - 1:30 am).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
