What You Will Do:  

Operate, perform repair and preventive maintenance on the Pneumatic Tube system.   Regular monitoring of the system for performance and failure recognition.   Communicate issues/information and scheduled shutdowns with stake holders.   Provide support and service to devices at multiple locations on the system.   Performs related duties as assigned.  Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.   Identify and properly report through the work order system all potential and existing problems encountered.   May track and distribute equipment throughout the hospitals.  

What You Will Need:  

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires a working knowledge of electricity and is able to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Requires ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Requires familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Requires familiarity with basic hand and machine tools, soldering, designated preventive maintenance and other test equipment.
