Equity Derivatives Middle Office Sales Support - Vice President

As a Sale Support Vice President within the APAC Equity Derivatives Middle Office, you'll be performing oversight and controls of a client service team in charge of any post trade activities relative to our Sales activity across corporate clients, institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers and wealth management offices.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure client queries are addressed timely and appropriately Work closely with other Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’ Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed-off on a timely basis Ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled and participate to changes with regulation Collaborate with Sales, trading and business management to any new business opportunities and help designing controls and process Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

A minimum of 8 years in Equity derivatives environment with strong people management experience in order to manage a team and manage stakeholders expectations Understand all relevant derivatives product offering for clients in order to ensure appropriate management of client and business demands Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate Attention to details and sense of ownership Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment Possess strong analytical and numerical skills, technical skills, especially in Excel (VBA is a plus), problem-solving, control, and project management skills
