Overview

Provide comprehensive coverage of your specified sector. Conduct channel-checks,
investigate independent research resources, create financial models, study academic
opinions and seek other objective sources of information Work closely with other sector Analysts in a team-oriented environment to bring a broader analysis to reports. Prepare differentiated research reports and provide timely electronic updates for the firm’s sales force and institutional clients. Conduct individual marketing to institutional clients and facilitating access to senior management of coverage companies.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree plus five (5) or more years of experience working for an investment research firm Experience covering the Consumer sector; preferably Restaurants or Big Box/Departmen storesMBA or CFA preferred Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 requiredStrong fundamental analysis skills with an emphasis on industry-related experience in your area of expertiseAbility to produce unbiased premium quality sector and individual stock reports with an emphasis on comprehensive research tools including channel checkingStrong corporate relationships as well as institutional relationships with major fund managers and hedge fundsExcellent research, communication and organizational skills Travel is required
