The ERM Senior Analyst (ERMSA) position supports the ERM Department’s efforts to properly assess risk throughout the organization by efficiently and effectively gathering, organizing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting quantitative and qualitative data in a timely and accurate manner. The ERMSA helps to develop, maintain, and optimize ERM processes, procedures, reports, and systems that help identify trends, risk, and impact to the bank in a clear and concise format. This position reports to the Enterprise Risk Program Manager. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain, update, review, and generate Executive Key Risk Indicator (KRI) report, including identification of risks and trends, obtaining data from business owners, verification of accuracy in relation to definitions, computations, and regulatory reports, change management, and discussions with business owners and executives regarding new or changing metrics. Keeps related procedures up to date with current practices. · Produce monthly Issue Tracking Report ensuring timeliness and accuracy. This may include contact risk owners or control functions to ensure accurate representations of issues, recommendations, and management responses. Keep related procedures up to date with current practices. · Maintain risk and control libraries and related charts and graphs utilized for Executive Management and Board reporting. · Contribute to enhancements, data population, and formatting of existing reports and designing of new risk management reports as needed using tools such as Excel and Power BI. · Participate in performance of walkthroughs or contact calls, limited-scope and full-scope self-assessments working towards development of skills necessary to plan, review, discuss with business owners, provide credible challenge, and documentation of findings and results. · Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned. Competencies Required: · Problem solving mindset with developed analytical ability and decision-making skills. · Strong active listening skills; good collaboration and people skills. · Solid written and verbal communication, interviewing, and presentation skills. · Self-motivated individual with a team orientation; deadline driven. · Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments with competing priorities and deadlines is necessary. · Ability to establish and maintain relationships within the organization. · Strong technology and research skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). · Experience with report building and manipulation of data sets is a plus. · Working knowledge of other applications such as PowerApps or Power BI is a plus. Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 3 years’ experience in Risk, Audit, Accounting or Finance required. · Banking or financial services industry experience preferred. Formal Education & Certification: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required Work Status: · Full-time. Supervisory Responsibility: · None. Travel: · Up to 5% travel expected.
