Quanex is looking for an ERP Business Project Leader to join our integration team. The role can be based out of any QCC location at Quanex. Locations include:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the business aspects of the NetSuite ERP implementation project. This role involves leading business process analysis, ensuring standardization across the organization, and facilitating communication between business units and the technical implementation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of business processes, strong leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project, and project management.
What Success Looks Like:
Business Process Management: Lead the analysis and documentation of current business processes across all relevant departments. Co-lead the ERP implementation project alongside the IT project leader. Integrate CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes into standardized workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency in pricing and quoting across the organization. Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization. Develop and implement standardized business processes to ensure consistency and efficiency. Ensure alignment of business processes with the overall ERP implementation strategy. Standardization: Drive the standardization of business processes, data definitions, and reporting across the organization. Work with business units to ensure adherence to standardized processes and practices. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for maintaining standardization post-implementation. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure standardized processes are correctly configured in the ERP system. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for business units regarding the ERP implementation. Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates. Manage expectations and address concerns of business users throughout the implementation process. Provide training and support to business users on new processes and ERP system functionality. Ensure the steering committee is apprised of any concerns that may impact the budget or implementation timeline. Ensure all key stakeholders are on board with the “go-live” timeline, particularly the plant manager(s) being impacted. Project Coordination: Work closely with the Co-Leader and technical implementation team to ensure project milestones are met. Coordinate and oversee the testing of business processes in the ERP system. Identify and mitigate risks related to business process changes. Ensure timely resolution of issues and conflicts between business units and the technical team. Coordinate with Quanex corporate IT resources whenever possible to control the cost of external consultants. Change Management: Develop and execute change management and communication plans to ensure smooth transition to new processes and systems. Communicate changes and benefits to business users to gain buy-in and support. Monitor and evaluate the impact of process changes on business performance. Travel Requirements: Travel up to 25% - This may vary based off domicile location
Your Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, e.g., IT, Finance & Accounting preferred. 7 years of experience of using ERP systems with a minimum of 3 years of ERP configuration experience. Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI) strongly preferred. Experience leading ERP implementation projects to include developing work plans, project scopes, price estimates, budget management, issues and risk management, and executing deliverables on-time and on-budget. 3+ years of people and vendor management experience.
Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 annually, based on experience
