The ERP Integration Specialist will be responsible for creating integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications, ensuring secure data exchanges between on-premises and cloud-based systems. They will work with various ERP systems and enterprise applications, such as EPM, HRIS, Workday, Lawson HCM, payroll, procurement, financial, EAM, and transportation applications. The Specialist will gather requirements, develop technical specifications, create architecture diagrams, and present to review boards. They will collaborate with security teams and create integrations using various technologies and protocols. The Specialist will act as a subject matter expert in analyzing legacy reporting inventory, mapping reporting needs, and validating ERP data. They will troubleshoot issues and conduct data analysis to ensure integration solutions meet performance and reliability requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications, ensuring secure data exchanges between on-premises and cloud-based systems.Develop custom interfaces using middleware tools like Dell Boomi or similar tools and maintain them as required.Develop data exchanges using various formats and protocols, including the development of APIs, data exploration, transformation, and mapping, and develop data integration architecture for high availability and disaster recovery.Build integration testing and automation, use source code control for development and management of software, and manage production deployments through controlled build and release methodologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design integration solutions that meet those requirements.Develop scripts and code for complex data mapping and transformations and document them accordingly.Ensure that integration solutions meet performance, reliability, functional, and non-functional requirements.Work with external vendors to build secured integration layers with third-party providers as needed.Analyze legacy reporting inventory, map reporting needs to ERP reporting options, and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet reporting requirements, working closely with report engineers as necessary.Work with cross-functional teams to cleanse, prepare, map, and validate ERP data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist in data extraction, migration, ERP system upgrades, and enhancements as required.Coordinate with database architects to assist with developing data dictionaries and metadata definitions.Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and training materials as required.Ensure timely delivery of integration projects and manage stakeholder expectations accordingly.Work with project teams, other technology teams, and stakeholders to identify integration risks and develop mitigation strategies.Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in ERP integration and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.Identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual effort wherever possible.Continuously evaluate integration solutions for efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.Adhere to all tenets of DART Data Governance and Security.Actively participate in knowledge sharing and cross-training to ensure that the division has backups for all essential tasks and responsibilities.Provide exceptional customer service and meet Agency service level agreements (SLA).Perform any related other duties as assigned.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
