ERP Support Analyst
Description We are offering an opportunity for an ERP Support Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for ERP and other software support, including training, troubleshooting, and system improvements. Your responsibilities will span across ensuring efficient software operations, documenting process improvements, and coordinating software updates. Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for training and troubleshooting issues related to SAP Business One, Warehouse Management, and other corporate software • Document and track user issues through resolution using help desk software • Ensure timely escalation of issues when they cannot be resolved with available resources • Provide feedback and report on the status and resolution of unresolved issues to end users • Assist in the documentation and implementation of business process improvements • Coordinate the testing of software updates and document issues to support "go-live" schedules • Proactively stay informed about all relevant software developments • Train new personnel and staff on new or modified software products and features • Research unfamiliar software features and provide solutions to user problems • Assist end users with documentation/specification of business process software improvements and report requests • Re-engineer ERP software setup and/or process flow to improve efficient usage • Ensure compliance with Corporate IT Directive Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ERP support or related role within the manufacturing industry • Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software • Knowledge and experience with Crystal Reports • Familiarity with QuoteSoft software • Experience in supporting various software products and technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various teams and departments • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry best practices would be advantageous.
