Position Title: ERT Supervisor - Stennis

General Description:\n

Candidate is responsible for the direct supervision of the Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) team, that engage in fire rescue services as emergency situations dictate and perform initial ground and ARFF procedures. Coordinates scheduling and operations in conjunction with the Stennis International Airport Fire Department to support Haz Ops for Tyonek Ground Aviation Maintenance Operations.\n

Duties:\n\nOversees scheduling\/manpower for 24 hours operational requirements.\nMaintains Inspections requirements for facilities fire suppression systems. \nRespond to emergency situations and evaluate immediate life-threatening situations, make quick decisions for incident stabilization.\nCompiles data to support quarterly Safety Council Meetings. \nInitiate notification to Management personnel when discrepancies, potential problems, and repair issues are identified.\nAuditing compliance of our joint effort with the fire department, in accordance with NAS 3306 requirements. \nComplete written reports accurately, provide daily briefings, and other tasks\/projects as needed.\nMay be required to operate a forklift.\n\n

Education\/Experience Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nExtensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.\nExcellent organizational skills and an attention to detail.\nRequired Certifications: NFPA 1001 Firefighter, NFPA 1002 Driver Operator, NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter, Hazardous Material Technician all IFSAC, PROBOARD, or DOD Certificates, EMR or EMT-Basic.\nMust be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities. May be required to obtain and maintain a secret clearance\nMinimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. \nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
