Escrow Assistant

Position Highlights: Escrow Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Escrow Department by assisting with administrative duties, customer service inquiries, and post-closing duties. Position Responsibilities: Answer all incoming phone calls Scheduling all closings following all builder reports Office supply ordering Receiving and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail Prepare and ship closing packages to lender Assist branch manager and escrow officers with administrative tasks as requested Prepare receipts for all funds received from Customers and/or lenders Order wire transfers and provide wiring instruction Assist in preparing transactions for the closing of escrow by reviewing title reports for accuracy, clearing title report requirements, and providing documentation for the completion of the transaction and loan processing. Prepares closing documents Prepare cash closings Send documents to the lender to obtain funding authorization Send documents for recording to appropriate counties Provide Lenders with filed escrow and title fees associated with their closings Follow-up with all requests (email, phone) from clients Other tasks as assigned Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years experience in Escrow Ability to type 40+ WPM Strong oral and written communication skills High level of organizational skills and attention to detail Basic knowledge of escrow practices and terminology Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and title software applications At Tri Pointe Homes, we are intentional about fostering an environment where you, and all individuals, are encouraged to be their authentic selves.
