Westminster Title Company, a Toll Brothers company, seeks an experienced Escrow Officer for our operations in Roseville, California.
What is the opportunity?
Escrow Officers are responsible for coordination and communication of all parties to facilitate closings. They handle preparation of all necessary documents in the settlement and ensure all processes are in accordance with local, state, and federal law.
What are the primary responsibilities?
Communication and coordination with various parties involved in the transactions to facilitate closingsPreparation of closing documentsDisbursement and Post Closing of filesConduct closings as allowed by local, state, and federal law and local customClearance of title objections if necessaryOther duties as assignedThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the nation's most respected Fortune 500 companies!
QualificationsDoes this describe you?
Solid knowledge of Escrow Closings of real estate transactionsExperience communicating with all parties to a residential or commercial real estate closingProven track record of directing a team of escrow assistants to close high volume while maintaining excellent customer service and a quality and accurate productDetail Oriented, good time management skills and works well in a team settingDo you have these qualifications?
Essential:A minimum of 3 years of previous related professional experience Extensive knowledge of escrow industry practices, laws, and regulations Escrow certification may be necessary in some states and necessary continuing education and/or seminars to maintain designations; has Notary Public CertificationPreferred:Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years work related experienceThe salary for this position is $28.85-$43.27 per hour, plus a commission program.
