ESG Data Specialist (Freelance)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

To fulfill our commitment to environmental and social responsibility, we seek a project-based team member to:

 

Manage Paramount’s annual enterprise-level GHG emissions inventory, including: Collecting data from internal stakeholders across the business Completing emissions calculation process with support of external consultants Leading third-party assurance of GHG emissions data Maintain GHG emissions inventory database and providing analysis of YOY variances and changes in GHG data and continuously striving to improve data quality Prepare CDP questionnaire completion and submission Provide environmental data and analysis needed for annual ESG report and other external reporting frameworks and regulations (e.g. CSRD, SBTi, CDP, etc.) Partner with and support other internal groups across the business in refining environmental data tracking methods for GHG impacts

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

The person responsible for this work should have the following skills and background:

 

Experience calculating GHG emissions for companies and interpreting the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 Experience with CDP reporting Strong skills in data analysis A propensity for curiosity A self-starter, able to operate without much information or background Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Comfort with using, manipulating, and presenting quantitative data to non-technical audiences Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in ESG or sustainability

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

Advanced coursework in greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability, environmental management, or related field An understanding of the entertainment industry and media production Experience with Watershed climate platform, or other ESG reporting software Demonstrable ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Hourly Salary Range: $40.00 - 45.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
