ESG Reporting Manager
The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.
The ESG Reporting Manager will have responsibility for writing our global ESG reports and actively participating in the implementation, enforcement and monitoring of related systems and controls to ensure compliance with global regulatory agencies. The position will take an active role in researching new global ESG regulations and partnering across the organizations for successful implementation at TJX.
This role involves direct engagement with leaders across the organization to ensure the integrity of the sustainability data and compliance with reporting standards, frameworks and regulatory requirements. A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities, critical thinking, and effective communication. They will work closely with organizational leaders to maintain high standards of sustainability data and ensure all disclosures meet regulatory requirements.
Your Impact:
Collaborate closely with the Sustainability, Legal, Global Communications, Human Resources and various financial teams to ensure compliance with all global ESG regulatory requirementsManage all global ESG reporting preparation, review and analysisParticipate in the implementation and maintenance of systems for collecting, reporting and analyzing ESG dataCollaborate across the organization to validate and analyze data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness and maintain appropriate documentation for internal control requirementsLead discussions with Internal and External auditors during related auditsManage the development, mentorship and training of the Senior Financial Accountant, delegating work and assignments effectivelyDevelop talent; Hire, train, mentor and evaluate team, leading talent succession planningProvide guidance, prioritization and training to Senior Accountant; leading and reviewing their work and assisting with executive ready presentationsCoordinate closely with global Finance teams to complete external and internal assurance of reportsKeep updated on emerging ESG regulations, industry trends, and reporting frameworks, researching regulations and peer filings, and implementing issued regulations to ensure complianceDevelop project timelines for ESG reporting and manage projects to achieve external reporting deadlinesDrive continuous improvement efforts in the ESG data reporting processes, systems, and data management to streamline and optimize reporting efficiency and accuracy
Who We Are Looking For: You.
Minimum 4-6 years Sustainability, SEC Reporting or Audit experienceSupervisor Experience (1 to 2+ Years Preferred)Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Finance or equivalentCPA/MBA a plusPublic Accounting a plusTechnical accounting or sustainability understanding (public/private or mixExcellent interpersonal / relationships skills / Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Organizational and time management skillAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and prioritize optimally, with consideration of broader team goalsExperience leading presentations to senior managementAdaptable, dynamic problem solver with solutioning skillsShown proficiency with Microsoft Office ApplicationProject management experience a plus

This position has a starting salary range of $99,600 to $129,600 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
