Join us! **Job Description:** This job is responsible for developing, maintaining, and interpreting the Corporation’s sustainability accounting policies, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards across the globe, researching complex reporting issues, advising management on appropriate accounting treatments, and communicating these policies to relevant stakeholders across the organization; Key responsibilities include supporting the documentation of technical conclusions as well as the development and maintenance of the company's policies. This individual will work closely with the finance and legal teams as well as with other teams within the organization to ensure compliance with applicable sustainability accounting and regulatory standards. **Specific Line of Business Responsibilities:** + Advise, prepare and review non-financial reports + Ensure compliance with the new reporting Directives and Regulations (such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy) + Collaborate with project teams in the implementation of sustainability reports + Review and evaluate transactions and disclosures to ensure compliance with those laws, rules, regulations, guidelines, and frameworks. **Responsibilities:** + Provides guidance for interpreting and understanding complex sustainability regulatory requirements + Ability to work effectively within large organizations and build networks with colleagues and business partners + Ability to understand and advance business strategy and operations, with background in the field of sustainability reporting + Ability to perform technical analysis + Proven background of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, using excellent written and verbal communication + Strong research and documentation skills **Required Qualifications:** + 8+ years of accounting experience + Exposure to ESG/Sustainability initiatives + Background in accounting standards + Experience analyzing technical issues and providing technical support for the implementation of new accounting/sustainability standards + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail **Desired Qualifications:** + Prior Big-4 audit experience + Bachelor’s Degree + Strong understanding of accounting and SEC reporting standards with experience with ESG/ sustainability standards **Skills:** + Financial Accounting & Reporting + Interpret Relevant Laws, Rules, and Regulations + Regulatory Compliance + Risk Management + Attention to Detail + Continuous Improvement + Project Management + Analytical skills + Relationship Building + Regulatory and/or Accounting Reporting experience + Sustainable Reporting experience + Verbal & Written Communications skills **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
