ESIS Learning & Development: Learning Facilitation Specialist

The Learning Facilitation Specialist for ESIS Learning and Development is responsible for creating technical learning materials and facilitating classes for ESIS North America and ensuring learning materials and classes delivered to claim staff are of a high caliber and are practical, relevant, and enduring.

This position will report to the head of ESIS Learning and Development. Ideally, the candidate will sit in our Dallas, TX or Cheektowaga, NY offices.

Core Responsibilities: 

Designs classes for Claims staff ensuring learning solutions align with the business needs, are practical and facilitate an impactful learning experience.  Facilitates 3-5 classes a week to ensure ESIS Claims professionals and new hires can complete core functions covered in the curriculum. Designs support learning materials for learners to reinforce content and drive manager engagement. Collects, evaluates, and acts on learning metrics and data insights that are both qualitative and quantitative. Leverages foundational insurance expertise to facilitate classes across multiple lines of business.  Utilizes integrated blended learning solutions to promote a scalable, consistent, and repeatable learning process. Works with business subject-matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop innovative and creative learning solutions aligned to ILD standards. Utilizes new learning technologies to ensure that delivery methods are practical, relevant, and engaging for all employees. Considers the learner’s experience when designing/structuring learning material and classes. Works within ESIS Learning & Development to assist with implementation of approved learning solutions. Able to utilize our internal Learning Management System (LMS), Chubb Talent Experience (CTX), to track and measure learning solutions, determine how material is being received and identify opportunities to adjust material based on findings. Proficient technical expertise in insurance claims handling processes and procedures with general insurance industry insights is required.A background in education instruction and/or corporate employee training is strongly preferred. Professional and engaging presentation skills.Experience with software applications used to design learning content, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), Adobe Captivate, and Articulate 360.A strong desire/interest in learning about L&D functional expertise – including a deep understanding of instructional design and adult learning theories. Strong analytical skills with an ability to evaluate, analyze, and interpret technical information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strategic thinker: ability to overcome obstacles; takes an organized and logical approach to thinking through problems and complex issues.Collaborative team player with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to execute plans, drive results and take accountability for outcomes.Ability to travel as needed.Ability to flex hours as needed for specific assignments. University education preferred. 

The pay range for the role is $60,000-$99,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
