ESIS is seeking a Recovery Representative
Directs investigation, evaluates third party liability, pursues subrogation recoveries, and negotiates settlements for auto and property claims in multiple jurisdictions. Manage files in litigation. Direct subrogation counsel as appropriate. Maintain a diary of 250 to 300 subrogation files which ranges from basic to rather complex claims and large recoverable amounts. Communicate with brokers, insureds, other carriers etc. to achieve desired results. Provide outstanding customer service to insured clientele. Work with internal business partners to maximize recoveries. Utilize Inter-Company Arbitration or other Alternate Dispute Resolution when practical. College degree & state licenses preferred.3 to 5 years of experience handling auto and property subrogation claims.Knowledge of subrogation, tort and contract law as evidenced by actual experience handling recovery files.Strong knowledge of Arbitration Forums, its rules, regulations and website as well as the TRS platform to prepare nationwide Intercompany Arbitration filings and Responses against other carriers that are disputing liability and/or damages on losses.Strong competency to write effective & persuasive contentions while incorporating all evidence that support the liability decision. Sound competency to effectively use the Arb Forums bulletins as they best apply to the case.Excellent organizational skills.Analytical approach to business objectives.Outstanding customer-focus skills.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Ability to work under pressureAbility to evaluate recovery claims, make sound judgments and take decisive action under pressure.The pay range for the role is $58,900 to $100,100. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
