Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to join our elementary school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students from diverse backgrounds achieve language proficiency and academic success.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement engaging ESL lesson plans tailored to the needs of elementary school students. – Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. – Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed. – Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development. – Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs. Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field. – NC Teaching certification or ESL endorsement preferred. – Experience working with elementary school students. – Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required
