The Edison Security Operations Center (ESOC) is a 24/7 operations center tasked with monitoring security systems throughout the SCE territory. The ESOC receives and responds to thousands of alarms and handles hundreds of phone calls daily. Security Specialists assigned to the ESOC are expected to:
• Be first line support on a multitude of security related incidents
• Serve and partner with key business units throughout SCE
• Provide oversight and make key decisions for security operations
• Provide detailed real-time reporting on incidents
• Provide world-class customer service to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, or a related field
Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and presentation skills
3 or more years of experience working in a security operations center (SOC)
ASIS CPP or PSP certification
PMP certification
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
