Responsible for logistics transactional activities according to Business Unit neeeds to ensure the export & import processes.
Responsibilities
Perform the daily transactional activities, to meet the aligned SLA/KPIs/measurement Conduct timely communication upon the inquiries from internal/external customers/concerned groups, for the operational transparency on the transactional activities Follow the up-to-date operational procedures, adherence to the standardized process landscape Timely identify the potential issues and make the appropriate escalation Operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines and support on audit activities Act as a back up for other team member/s as per aligned back up structure. Ensure proper knowledge transfer between back ups Ensure all the up-to-date operational procedures are maintained, documented and executed, all the operations adherence to the standardized process landscape Execute knowledge transfer / work shadowing sessions Initiate process improvement initiatives, be proactive and creative on contributing ideas for service improvement
Requirements
College degree (preferable higher education in Business Administration, international shipping, forwarding or trade). Essential: 2+ years in business area Desirable: working experience in a Shared Serviced Center Desirable: Basic knowledge in ocean, air, road, intermodal, dangerous goods, customs + trade, Incoterms rules, Letter of credit and bank collection business Desireable: Basic Project Management knowledge Language skills: Advanced English and knowledge of other languages to assure proper process execution Soft skills on: work independency; customer service mindset and can-do attitude; process-oriented and result driven; willingness to learn, improvement and problem solving ability; team player, ability to work under pressure; good communication skills; customer oriented approach, compliance awareness; intercultural sensitivity; analitical abilities Functional Skills: process execution; process understanding, harmonization & optimization
