Position Purpose Responsible for the development and maintenance of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements effectively. This role involves managing requirements to align application functionalities with user needs, providing application support, and solving technical problems as they arise. Additionally, the Application Specialist ensures process continuity by implementing best practices and facilitating smooth transitions during system updates or changes, thereby optimizing overall operational efficiency. Primary Accountabilities + Development and Maintenance. Implement scalable and secure solutions, develop and maintain applications using technologies such as Java, PHP, SQL, and Google Cloud, that meet business requirements + Requirements Management. Work closely with business areas to understand, document, and prioritize technical and functional requirements, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications for development. + Application Support and Problem Solving. Work closely with other IT teams, such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, and DevOps, to ensure robust and secure solutions. + Ensuring Process Continuity. Implement and maintain processes to ensure the business application's high availability and operational continuity. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the stability and scalability of technological platforms. Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Area of Study: Years of Experience: One to two years. Type of Experience: "Minimum 1-3 years of experience in developing web applications using Java, Java Script, PHP, SQL, and Google Cloud platform (docker, kubernets, cloud functions, cloud run). Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar big data analysis technologies. Experience in managing business requirements."
