Position Purpose
The Strategic Content Sr Specialist partners with the Merchandising Category teams to ensure all content and catalog data is complete and meets quality requirements and it is loaded timely to support sales initiatives and enhance trustworthy advice. Develops display configurations to drive sales through visual interaction of product data for all sales channels. Leads projects for visual content, application data and product attributes to ensure we sell the right product and keep it sold.
Primary Accountabilities
+ The senior strategic content specialist is responsible for ensuring that all catalog data is uploaded in accordance with the existing process, including validation, integrity, quality, and best practices. Coordinates and prioritizes the activities and initiatives of the strategic content specialist to ensure that the content of our catalog meets all the correct guidelines and to reach each of our objectives"
+ Follows up on specific cataloging special requests until their completion (tests, ad hoc catalog customization) to ensure they are valid and done according to defined criteria.
+ Analyzes coverage impact from catalog and content updates and creates recommendations to improve customer experience in-store and on line.
+ Develops and presents knowledge workshops to vendors and Merchandising teams, to ensure alignment of expectations and requirements within the catalog for the MDM Enterprise Project
+ Manages Merchandising teams and vendor relationships to include validations, distribution, and time frames of vendor content requirements to ensure catalog integrity
+ Prioritizes catalog updates for the Content Production team in conjunction with Merch teams to ensure all AutoZone sales targets, initiatives and promotions are met
+ Searches for opportunities to improve the current paradigms in cataloging through data analysis and research, in order to solve specific issues on each line (undamaged returns, ambiguous content, etc).
+ Proactively works with CMs searching for ways to improve catalog efficiency, eliminate duplicate catalogs and follow up accordingly to AZ Mexico priorities
Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Engineering, Finance or Accounting.
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Type of Experience: Direct experience working with vendors and third party catalog providers, including working knowledge of aftermarket industry standards: ACES and PIES.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: ASE P2 certification is a plus.
Other/Preferred: English fully bilingual (High proficiency on writing,speaking,listening and reading equivalent to +550 points of Toefl Score). Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop partnerships, capable to interact at all levels of the company
