Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Estate Planning Attorney to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities, including estate planning, elder law, special needs, and estate tax planning. This role also involves probate, estate administration, and succession planning duties.
Responsibilities:
• Handle estate planning matters, ensuring all legal documents are accurately prepared and comply with California law.
• Provide expert advice on elder law and special needs planning, guiding clients through complex legal processes.
• Manage estate tax planning activities, developing strategies to minimize tax liability for clients.
• Oversee probate and estate administration processes, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
• Handle succession planning matters, helping clients ensure their assets are distributed according to their wishes.
• Meet with clients to discuss their estate planning needs and objectives.
• Support senior attorneys in document drafting and proofing, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and comprehensive.
• Follow up with multiple clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing high-quality customer service.
• Take on client matters independently, demonstrating strong legal expertise and problem-solving skills.
• Continuously learn and grow within the legal field, staying updated on changes in estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. Requirements
• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Attorney
• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat and Case Management Software
• Proven track record in Estate Planning and Estate Law
• Solid understanding of Estate Tax laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
