Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join a growing group with a financial services company located downtown Chicago. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Key Responsibilities: + Draft and prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. + Conduct legal research on estate planning laws, tax implications, and trusts. + Assist with asset inventory and valuation for estates. + Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases. + Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws when handling estate planning documents. + Maintain client files and manage deadlines to meet legal filing requirements. + Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned by attorney. + Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree preferred. + 5+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, or related areas of law. + Knowledge of estate planning software and legal research tools. + Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. + Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. + Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
