- Great company cultureWhat You Will Be Doing- Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise business development, marketing and estimating efforts for the company
- Work closely with President to develop and execute a strategic plan for growth, market focus, estimating, relationship management and people development
- Manage the estimating process
- Review all final estimates and proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and report on periodic goals and budgets for the Business Development and Preconstruction department
- Create and continually monitor measurement metrics to track the performance of assigned departments
- Annually review company marketing literature including brochures, mailers, website, print material and photographs to keep them current
- Work with the service team to expand market reach
- Review contracts for construction from customers and negotiate any necessary revisions
- Lead the process of information exchange between estimating and operations
- Establish buyout objectives with supervisor to manage, supervise, and participate in the purchasing of subcontracts and equipment to improve on the cost carried in the estimateWhat You Need for this Position- Experience managing an estimating department with a construction environment plus
