Job Title: Estimator Job Description A multi-family housing and commercial buildings general contractor is seeking a talented and motivated Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects by providing accurate and timely estimates. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that bids are competitive and profitable. Responsibilities: - Assist in all aspects of the project management and estimating functions, including implementing and managing project schedules, bid analysis, plan review, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor pricing collection, putting together bid information, and assessment of both winning and losing bids. - Ensure that estimates are innovative and consistent with projected costs. - Effectively communicate with internal partners, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. - Manage the proposal file to allow the project team to focus on operations. Must-Haves + 1+ Years of Estimating Experience + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering + Local to Bloomfield, MI - or willing to commute Hard Skills + Takeoffs + Bid proposals + Bluebeam/ProCore Soft Skills + Communication + Organization Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position. Work Environment Majority of time will be in the office in Bloomfield Hills. 40 hour/salaried role.
