Job Title: Estimator Job Description The Estimator’s responsibilities include; but are not limited to: analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for hard metal parts. Creates and maintains manufacturing Routings and Bills of Materials for production of Aerospace components. Duties/Responsibilities: · Responsible for acknowledging Request for Quotes (RFQ’s), reviewing and interpreting technical data. · Gathering info and quotes from vendors · Preparing complete quote packages for approval and review · Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based upon the needs of the business. · Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Skills and Physical Requirements: · Experience of estimating in aerospace field REQUIRED · Effective written and oral communication skills with established interpersonal skills · Ability to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines. · Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. · Ability to read and interpret customer Blueprints, Specifications and Manufacturing Processes. · Working knowledge of procedures including BOM creation and estimating. · Well organized, self-directed. · Familiar with machine capabilities and related processes. Job Type This is a permanent position. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Southwick, Massachusetts.
