Job Title: EstimatorJob Description
Provide electrical estimates and cost consulting for commercial and industrial projects. Develop and present final cost plans. Estimate costs at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels. Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports. Manage all procurement stages, including pre-qualification, bid list production, bid analysis, bid reporting, and contract documentation. Handle post-contract cost variances and change control processes, referring major changes to the Project Manager. Conduct cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate processes. Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients. Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts. Maintain communication with clients and other consultants throughout all project stages. Lead the cost management team when necessary, ensuring accountability. Identify and report new business opportunities with existing clients to the Project Manager and utilize the marketing database.

Essential Skills
+ Strong technical experience in all areas of cost management, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account stages.
+ Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smart Draw, TurboBid, and other relevant software.
+ Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a team player.
+ In-depth knowledge of various construction procurement methods.
+ Experience advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
+ Familiarity with key aspects of business development.
+ Broad knowledge and experience across multiple industry sectors.
+ Degree in Engineering, Construction Management with a Technical Focus, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field is preferred.
+ Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects of medium to high complexity.
+ Experience in preparing large-scale electrical cost estimates.
+ A solid understanding of all electrical systems related to construction projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smart Draw, TurboBid, and other relevant software.
Work Environment
Primarily in office 40 hours a week in Greenfield. Office employees typically work 4 days a week for 10 hours a day. Occasional off-site meetings at the client to discuss project needs. Occasionally in office on Fridays if workload is heavy.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.50
