About this RoleBrink Constructors, Inc.
Prepare cost estimates for projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service. This position will provide professional assistance to Operations Manager, field supervisors, and customers.
Pay:
This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $85,000 - $115,000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
Location/Travel Requirements: This position can work from our Centennial, CO or Rapid City, SD office. Up to 25% of expected travel within the Central region as needed.
What You'll Do Develop substation bid hour and bid sheets for estimates on bid projects. Cross training on transmission lines would be requiredContact suppliers for pricing Prepare take-offs, staking sheetsFamiliarize with bid documentsConduct visits to job sites as neededInform others within the department of project status and current assignmentsAssess accurate and efficient estimating techniquesAssist other members of the estimating teamCollect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future productsPrepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling workAnalyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimatesDevelop and maintain professional, working relationships with vendors, customers, engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors for any changes in work, schedule, and estimates What You'll BringRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Construction or Electrical Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance3-5 years of estimatingPreferred experience with Electrical Utilities - Transmission Lines, Substation, or DistributionValid, Active Driver's LicensePre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check.
