Job Title: Estimator
Location: Statesville, NC
Industry:  full-service job shop / metal parts
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent and 1st shift!
Pay: $32/hr

Duties and Responsibilities: Quote new business based on customer requests Generate material requirements Obtain pricing for raw materials Generate routing information including setup and cycle times Obtain pricing for all outside services required to complete work Attach necessary files and/or documents Submit quote to customer Review expired quotes and update as needed Ensure proper material requirements Ensure updated prices for raw materials Ensure proper routing information including setup and cycle times Ensure updated pricing for all outside services required to complete work Ensure proper files and/or documents are attached Submit updated quote to customer Work with Business Development Manager and Engineering Manager to identify and secure new customers Compile quoting data for review by Engineering Manager Complete other related duties as assigned by Engineering Manager Qualifications and Requirements: Knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks 3+ years of experience Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficient in MS Office Experience in JobBOSS ERP software is highly desired Punctuality and reliability Ability to work well with others from a variety of occupational backgrounds **Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer, regardless of authorization or visa transfer
