Job Description Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs to determine overall project costs. Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to management and clients. Monitor and update cost estimates as project details change. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contract negotiations. Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs. Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices in aerospace manufacturing. Skills and Requirements Experience quoting CNC Milling, Turning, raw material and outside processing for job shop  Experience with external OEM/Tier 1 customer satisfactory communication with Quality and Mechanical Engineers and/or buyers  Manufacturing Engineer (potential for a dual role) o Estimating o Use of CAD/CAM software as needed o Shop floor (CNC) experience required o Overall knowledge of raw materials, speeds and feeds, and tooling Experience with CAM software a plus o Production planning and facilitating a plus o Mechanical Engineering Degree a plus, but not required  Aerospace industry experience a plus null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
