Job Title: EstimatorJob Description We are seeking an experienced estimator with a minimum of three years of experience in estimating for commercial building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in design-build projects and a working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software. The role requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to establish strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and fellow employees. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in working with mathematical concepts related to construction processes, preparing spreadsheets, and performing quantity takeoffs. Responsibilities + Create and maintain project schedules. + Prepare and review construction project estimates. + Work closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers when required. + Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. + Utilize Microsoft Excel for project estimation and other related tasks. + Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed spreadsheets. Essential Skills + A minimum of three years of construction estimating experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to establish strong professional relationships. + Strong mathematical skills related to construction processes. + Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software (preferred). + Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (preferred). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Desire to become the VP of Estimating and lead the Estimating department in 5-10 years. + Experience with design-build projects. Work Environment This position is on-site and involves direct interaction with clients, subcontractors, and team members. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 This individual will be provided full medical, dental, and vision experience. Ability to contribute to their 401k.
