A Day in the Life:Complete take-offs/estimate for assigned projects Follow up on multi-scope or single-scope projectsAttend pre-bid & post-bid meetings Complete work orders & prepare material order sheets Consult, communicate, and build rapport with internal departments Prepare construction progress schedulesCoordinate the investigation and resolution of disputes, defects and back chargesFollow-up with on-site problems with operations teamVisit job sitesDevelop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliersNegotiating contract price/award price with clientsParticipate in initial handoff meetings, production meetings and project autopsies

What You Bring:Experience in the construction industry (roofing) is requiredGood communication (verbal & written)Computer aptitude (Outlook, Bluebeam, excel, word, etc.)Basic estimating/mathematical skillsStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsExcellent time management and problem solving skills
