Career Opportunity: Estimator (Contract-to-Permanent)

Compensation: $85k+ (based on experience)

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Grand Prairie, TX. The Estimator will play a critical role in supporting project bids and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to phone calls and emails related to intent to bid and other non-technical requests.Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) application (Salesforce).Create and manage project files for new and existing opportunities on internal servers, Monday, and Salesforce.Identify and organize project documents such as plans, specifications, bid packages, and reports.Assist Senior Estimators by reviewing, sorting, and collating project documents.Update project assignments on Monday.Review Civil, Structural, Architectural, and other drawing discipline files to assist in quantity take-offs.Perform quantity take-offs and prepare exhibits to support the scope of work.Coordinate with operations teams to gather project inputs before bidding.Contact clients to clarify project needs and operational requirements.Follow up with clients post-bid/proposal submissions.Develop and maintain a database of clients and vendors.Support marketing activities as directed by the Vice President of Business Development.Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Business Development and Senior Estimator.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in an estimator role, focusing on concrete and structural building (excluding flatwork like sidewalks or driveways).Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a strong ability to analyze project documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Experience with construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift).Familiarity with construction project management processes.
