Job Title: EstimatorJob Description The Estimator 1 (Bid Coordinator) will assist estimators with bid requests by reviewing drawings and proposals to ensure accuracy and readiness for proposal initiation. The role involves communication with RSM and customers to send out bid requests promptly, ensuring smooth transitions within the estimating department. This individual will work within a team that modernizes commercial buildings through the design, manufacturing, and construction of exterior metal paneling. Responsibilities + Assist estimators with bid requests by opening and reviewing drawings and proposals. + Communicate with RSM and customers to send out bid requests in a timely manner. + Ensure smooth transition and coordination within the estimating department. + Collaborate with a team to modernize commercial buildings through designing, manufacturing, and constructing exterior metal paneling. Essential Skills + Experience reviewing architectural drawings. + Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, and PDF navigation. + Knowledge of construction documents and architectural drawings. + Experience in construction bidding and estimating. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field (preferred). + Experience with construction management and project management. Work Environment Work in the office Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Occasional local site visits may be required. The position involves sitting most of the time but may require walking or standing for brief periods. The ability to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs. of force frequently is necessary.
