Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise estimates, drafting comprehensive proposals, and managing multiple project estimates within tight deadlines. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with project teams, architects, and owners to ensure budget adherence.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates with thorough communication with project teams.Draft proposals including specific clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions.Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing.Analyze and interpret bid documents, construction plans, schedules, and specifications.Participate in architect and owner meetings to discuss costs and ideas for budget adherence.Manage multiple project estimates under tight deadlines.Lead the creation of construction cost estimates by calculating comprehensive takeoffs.Keep the department database updated with current and accurate supplier pricing.Evaluate design options to find cost-effective solutions based on engineering quality and material availability.Monitor project data for historical production and cost trends.Calculate labor and construction equipment costs.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Essential SkillsDemonstrated experience as a Construction Estimator, focusing on drywall estimates for commercial construction projects.High proficiency in using building and construction estimating software and tools.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Excellent skills in mathematics, analysis, and problem-solving.Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in estimating and documentation.Strong organizational capabilities, able to manage multiple projects at once.Additional Skills & QualificationsCapable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $72.00/hr.
