Senior Estimator position for a large general contractor that operates throughout BC and the USA. Working on high-rise tower projects

About the opportunity
In this role, you will be working as part of a social team of estimators, working specifically on high-rise tower projects for projects beginning preconstruction with others due to begin at the end of 2025.
About the positionYou will be reporting to the construction manager and your duties will include the following:Gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.Identify and select metrics to generate accurate estimates.Conduct site visits to collect critical information.Complete project estimates, including site visits, quantity take-offs, pricing, and presenting findings to management.Analyze data to generate forecasts.Perform ongoing trade risk assessments.Prepare comprehensive reports or bid proposals for submission to stakeholders.Manage trade tenders, qualification processes, scope development, and tender analysis.Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and clients, including subcontractors and architects.
The Requirements5+ years of experience in full life cycle estimating on high-rise tower projects in VancouverProficient using Bluebeam and PlanswiftTrack record of working as part of a team of estimatorsCPE or estimating qualifications an asset
Compensation$135,000 - $170,000 depending on experience5% RRSP matchingComprehensive health and dental benefitsDiscretionary annual bonusesOnsite gymHealth and wellness spending account
