Description
We are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Steel Estimator. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and a proven track record in estimating structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project documents to determine material and labor requirements, preparing detailed estimates.
Conduct cost analysis, prepare bids, and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals.
Perform value engineering, takeoffs, and develop schedules for steel projects, including plate fabrication, tanks, and specialty items.
Monitor industry trends and ensure competitive pricing.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project alignment.
Maintain and analyze a centralized cost estimating database for future projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel fabrication estimating.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
