Job Description

One of the most important jobs in any auto shop doesn’t happen under a hood; it happens behind a desk. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Estimator/Auditor II to help our service and repair shop at Manheim.

In this role, you’ll connect with customers and coordinate with technicians to ensure all repair costs are accounted for and that everything adds up. Does this sound like a good fit? Buckle up as we break down what this role is all about.

What’s in it for you?

You might be asking “what’s in it for me?” Great question. Here’s a taste of the benefits we offer:

Assist customers or visitors with questions and help them find the information they need.

Prepare repair orders (RO) by entering symptoms, problems and causes discovered, as well as the repairs and services required, into a service database system.

Verify correct VMRS codes and billing hours for technician repairs, ensuring these are in line with standard repair times.

Generate invoices based off RO details, applying customer-specific rates and mark-ups.

Coordinate invoicing by getting repair information from technicians and regional service managers.

Communicate with customers via email or phone to secure purchase order approvals.

Manage payment collection from customers and address any billing issues with them.

Organize and upload paperwork into the customer online portals and billing systems for record keeping.

Work with vendors to obtain service warranties.
