Position Overview: The Estimator is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for construction projects. This position requires a high level of knowledge and experience in construction estimating, budgeting, gas/water distribution, and digital takeoff software.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates for construction projects including utilities, gas/water distribution, wastewater, etc. Analyze plans and specifications and develop cost estimates utilizing digital takeoff software.Provide advice to management on the best strategies to manage material and labor costs.Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.Provide project scheduling and management support.Assist in the negotiation of subcontracts and materials pricing.Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress.Qualifications:
3+ Years of Estimating Experience - RequiredExperience Working on Gas/Water Distribution Projects - RequiredStrong knowledge and understanding of underground construction system solutions - RequiredBachelors degree in Construction Management or related field - Preferred.Benefits
