Responsible for detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 10 years estimating self-performed multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California. Must have excellent understanding of man hour production rates for various formwork systems and types, placing and finishing task based on historical data. Strong knowledge of Excel, WinEst, Cost-OS, Timberline Precision Estimating, PlanSwift / On Screen Takeoff a plus. Experience with Model Based Estimating a plus. Our Client is a major structures commercial contractor that does both Design-Build General Contracting and a Structural Concrete. We are a union company, employ 800 tradesmen and 40 office staff. Our exemplar projects are the New Tom Bradly International Terminal, Wilshire-Curson 32 story high-rise residential tower, The Source 2,700 car parking structure, Gilead Pharmaceuticals Corporate Campus and Distribution Center, etc. They cannot hire people from small, companies that do not understand the magnitude of the work we do or that are not familiar with using management software daily. These projects have very formal processes that must be followed. Our single project contracts range from $15million to $150million. They are a 100% at risk contractor that only does lump sum fixed price contracts.
