Ethics and Compliance Manager

This position will be responsible for management of the Anti-Bribery and Corruption (“ABC”) programmatic functions. These duties include: i) oversight of the analysts conducting due diligence and the specialist conducting reviews of donations, sponsorships and government interactions, ii) conducting quality control over due diligence screenings and processes, iv) drafting procedures and policies, v) identifying ABC risk areas and assisting in development and implementation of risk mitigation efforts, and vi) development of metrics related to the ABC programmatic functions.

Essential Functions:

Day-to-day responsibility for ABC screening program Drafting and updating policies and procedures for ABC compliance Quality control over procedures, including ensuring business has provided information on all high risk vendors Identifying ABC risk and designing or adjusting program to address evolving or new risk Oversight and management of team of analysts in ABC program SME for ABC training and questions from business Design and implement awareness tools to communicate information on the ABC program to the business, including updating the Hub Monitor laws, regulations, standards, and industry best practices and recommend modifications to the ethics and compliance program consistent with changes or trends Other items as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Compliance or legal related field Minimum 5 years experience  Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Power BI a plus

Knowledge. Skills & Abilities:

Comprehensive knowledge of designing, implementing, and managing Anti-Bribery and Corruption program and managing third party risks. Familiarity with due diligence tools for third parties, analysis of diligence results, mitigation plans, and other attributed of an ABC program. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex compliance issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of compliance initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended period of time. 

Travel:   None or very little travel likely

Work Conditions:  Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
